Speaking of Home
To mark Minnesota’s Sesquicentennial (150th year anniversary) the public art project Speaking of Home will be installed over Nicollet Mall from July – November 2008, asking the question: "What does home mean to you?" In August, a series of lectures will explore issues and ideas connected with the exhibit, such as the function of public art, immigration to Minnesota, affordable housing, and art and design in downtown cityscapes.
