Erik Olin Wright is a professor of Sociology at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. His research focuses on American class structures and developing social and economic alternatives. His current book projects include Envisioning Real Utopias, and, with Joel Rogers, American Society: how it actually works (forthcoming).
