Hiromi Mizuno

Hiromi Mizuno is a professor of History at the University of Minnesota. Her recent works include Science for the Empire: Scientific Nationalism in Modern Japan (Stanford University Press, forthcoming),"When Pacifist Japan Fights: Historicizing Desire in Anime" (Mechademia, 2 104-123, December 2007), and Joan Arai and Imayo Suzuki (2001). Mizuno was a residential fellow at the IAS during the fall of 2008.
