Lynn Lukkas

Lynn Lukkas is an Associate Professor in the Department of Art and is a member of the Program in Collaborative Arts at the University of Minnesota. Her work is about one of our most fundamental human drives, to understand our selves in relation to our world. Time is perhaps the most illusive element in media arts. In h most recent project, Sense of Time, she explores subjective expereriences of time - memory, trauma, dreams, revery and estatic events. In order to research how we understand time she is conducting video interviews with artists, scientists, psychologists, religious leaders, humanists, social scientists, and people from varied walks of life and cultural contexts.

The interview can also be downloaded as a video podcast (130.3 MB) or as an audio file (.mp3 - 53.2 MB).
